The Bluebeard’s Revenge Shaving Cream* from Ethical Superstore* – £9.99 (FT).  Made in the UK, it’s vegetarian and vegan-friendly, paraben-free, and housed in recyclable packaging.  That’s a lot of eco-friendly father’s day boxes ticked!

Lexon Toiletry Bag from Frank & Faith – £17 (EF).  Made from recycled bottles! This one is no longer available, but try this one made from recycled inner tubes*.

Half Pint Mug from Doris & Co*. – £19.95 (FT).  Hand cast in traditional methods in Stoke-On-Trent by skilled local craftsmen.

Ethical Drinks For Dads

Trash & Treasure Rum* (£32). This is a unique British zero-waste rum made with botanicals, weeds, discarded orange peels, and surplus over-ripes. It’s therefore a tasty treasure from trash.

Small Beer Case of Mixed Beer* (£25). Perhaps your dad is more of a beer man?  Then this mixed case of beer from Bermondsey-based Small Beer is a great choice. This is because Small Beer treads lightly on the environment, with their ground-breaking water-saving techniques. You can read more about Small Beer here.

And if your dad is more of a wine man, then do check out my guide to ethical wine.

Eco-Friendly Garden Gift Ideas

Garden Tools* (from £26.95). These copper tools are naturally rust-resistant and are a thoughtful eco-friendly gift idea for any dad that likes pottering in the garden.

Grow Your Own Mushroom Kit* (£18.95). Celebrate the fun-guy (see what I did there!) in your life, with this grow your own mushroom kit. Bouquets of edible oyster mushrooms are waiting to burst out of this box. Simply add water to watch them grow. What’s more, the mushrooms are grown on upcycled coffee grounds for extra eco points.

Eco Gifts for Hip Dads

Cork iPad Sleeve* (£28) from Etsy. Is your dad a gadget man?  Then may a suggest a cork iPad sleeve. Cork is the ultimate in sustainability.  Cork is a really sustainable material, but now cork forests are being threatened because of screw-top bottles. Therefore perpetuating a market for cork helps protect the forests.

Ethletic Trainers* (£44). If you’ve got a slightly bigger budget and a hip dad then I’d recommend trainers from Ethletic. Ethletic shoes are ethically made, with organic and Fairtrade certified cotton. What’s more, the rubber soles are FSC certified and sourced responsibly, and the rubber is fairly traded too.

Eco-Friendly Kitchen Gifts for Father’s Day

Salt Pig by Libby Ballard Ceramics* (£32). Each piece is hand-thrown on Libby’s potter’s wheel in her home studio in Wiltshire. What’s more, the spoons are made by local Bristol maker; Will Priestly Woodcraft. Each spoon is carved by hand. And all the wood Will uses in his work is from local conservation projects. By foraging his own wood Will knows that the trees have been felled ethically and sustainably.

The Green Roasting Tin Cookbook* (£16.99) is one of my favourite vegetarian and vegan cookbooks. With over 70 recipes, it shows you how to make delicious one-pan no-fuss meals. I’m hooked!

I hope you’ve been able to find what you are looking for in this eco-friendly Father’s Day gift guide!  If not, then do check out my ethical, zero-waste, and plastic-free gift guide.
